Women’s Undergarments
Camisa
primarily made of white or natural linen; depending on style, could be embellished with embroidery. Women’s shirts were usually mid calf to ankle length in one of two styles:
Wide body, round neck, sleeves tight from elbow to wrist
Shorter and very tight, with one side laced (encordata); usually highly embroidered, probably a fashion holdover from c. 13th c.
